The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!

This a a Good bug (ugly too I suppose) for you to know about in the garden. The Robber Fly lives up to it’s reputation. These aggressive flies are predators and help your garden experience by controlling the bad bugs from damaging your garden. If you look closely in the picture I took, this Robber Fly has his prey and is literally sucking the life out if it. Grody I know… but very effective hunters. They snatch (rob) their prey in flight.

The only warning here is that you respect the Robber Fly… if provoked they will bite.
